Hi there, thanks for the effor man, as you're work will be on 3d max i would like learn how to design a 3d glass element that you can export to AE later on and apply to the shatter effect. The element could be transperant so if we wanted to show a background plate. we could simulate a window break or something i was guessing. i appreciate your efforts for any tutorials anyway :) keep it up!

Can I ask why there is red all over the screen on the explosion tutorial part 1. Around halfway through the tutorial, it begins..

Kind Regards

Hi Adam,

I dont know why its red? I have checked it and plays fine..
probably you need to refresh your web page...
I will have a word with the web management anyway to see why is it happening..
let me know if there is anything else..for now please click refresh button or F5 on your key board..

Thanks

Hi Shoaib,

Just finished watching the Text explosion video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the pace of the video and the amount of information shown. Keep it up.

I had the same red problem as adam in part 1. It caused the Flash portion to crash including IE. After restarting IE and the tutorial the problem was no longer there.

Hi again
i want to say if you can record your video tuts with Camtasia Sudio and export your videos as .FLV files.
Because Flv files are much better than SWF files for long movies.
and it has a nice size and quality to play online.
Thanks Again

Mike! Thanks for your comment and sorry about the redness,..I will re-render the tutorials in FLV..
as Hamid suggested...but the only problem with FLV is loosing quality..
Hamid what settings do you use in Camstasia to produce FLV ??

Thanks
Shoaib

salam alaikom ;)
When you are on Flash Template Selector Page in Camtasia studio . there is a Flash Option Button .
Click on it
then go and choose FLV format from there .
In the bottom of the page you see some settings
I set the settings like this :
frame rate : Automatic
Max bit rate : 300
Bit rate control : 1-Pass
Key frame rate : 5
And then set the quality to some thing about 80% or 85%
That was my setting with a nice quality and size ;)
Good Luck
